SHAREFEST is an event that was created with the belief that churches and organizations can do more together than any one group could do separately to reach out to its community. We serve in school districts, community organizations all over the city by landscaping, painting, constructing, and cleaning up the grounds of area schools and buildings.

Volunteer Opportunities

Painting

This team will do all things paint related. They will paint parking lot lines and curbs, playground equipment, bike stands, and other select outside painting.

Landscaping and Construction

This team will rake, mulch, sweep, plant, trim and window wash at all our sites.  All things to help beautify the campuses of the various organizations we will be serving. Also some on this team will be working on specialized small construction projects. Construction experience would be helpful.

Runners

This team will help with pickup of supplies at Lowe's and delivery of the supplies on Sharefest day to the various sites. They will also deliver food for the Celebration at the end of the morning.

Prayer Team

This team will pray on Sharefest morning. The team will pray at Fellowship Bible Church for all the sites where volunteers will be serving, and for a long term impact and transformation within those environments as a result of the morning’s work and the ongoing relationship.

Celebration

This team will help with the set-up and tear down of the Celebration following Sharefest at their site. There will lunch served for all participants to attend at their site. A Foreman is needed for each site to oversee the Celebration.

Supply Team 1

This team will meet 4-6 weeks before Sharefest at times determined by the Supply Chairman. They will help with collection/organization/distribution of supplies for Sharefest day. Need to be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Supply Team 2

This team will meet on the afternoon after Sharefest is completed, and for 1-2 weeks afterward to help with storing and organizing supplies for the next year. Times will be determined by Supply Chairman. Need to be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
